Lately, our team at Create Your Statement has been working on supporting our community through leadership and education of dating abuse. We have worked with schools, young men and women and have been trying to expand to make an impact.

Recent projects include:

• Working with local schools and teaching the REDFLAG and COMPASS classes
• Teaching our curriculum to the Healing Lodge – a 45-bed adolescent residential chemical dependency treatment center in Spokane Valley, Washington that creates a foundation of healing for those who are struggling.
• We worked with a sorority – Gamma Phi Beta on education and development and received a testimonial from one of the ladies:

I have had SO MANY girls come up to me and tell me how much they loved the program and the message you ladies shared with us! You ladies have made such an impact already and I can’t wait till you gals come back and touch more girls. I cannot thank you enough!

• We spent an afternoon with the police force and girl scout troops talking about the prevention of dating abuse and why leadership is so important.
• Our mission has reached the adults over at Artisans – a non-profit agency providing services necessary for individual job development, employment support and employment opportunities in the community for persons with disabilities.
• We had a blast being the beneficiary sponsor of Hot Summer Nights 2019 back in July with the Spokane CDA Living magazine.
