Why Our Programs Matter
Spokane has one of the highest rates of domestic violence in Washington state. Create Your Statement is working to reverse that trend—one classroom at a time. Our programs don’t just inform—they empower. By meeting teens where they are and engaging them with real, honest conversations, we help build a safer, stronger future for our community.
Real stories from the youth, educators, and partners we serve:
“I love the Statement programs for their valuable work in raising awareness of dating abuse to
our youth. Not only does it help kids understand what dating violence is, but it helps kids learn
to respect themselves and others while encouraging leadership. Statement encourages youth
to see the valuable person they are and that they can make a difference in the world. I highly
recommend this program.”
“The core components of REDFLAG are an important addition to Artisan’s suite of services for our clients in the Inland Northwest. Create Your Statement will add great value to our community.”
“This organization is helping and will continue to help many young people to strive for healthy relationships and aspire to become leaders as they reach their full potential. Create Your Statement needs to be shared with youth everywhere!”
