Join us for this complimentary educational luncheon on October 25th. Find out how your church or organization can make a difference in the prevention of dating abuse. Dating abuse is an epidemic among today’s youth.
One in three teens will experience physical, sexual, or emotional abuse by someone they are in a relationship before they become adults. Create Your Statement exists to help young women and men rise above this statistic and prevent the cycle of domestic violence.
Since 2012, Statement has reached more than 3,000 youth in and around Spokane County. Our programs develop teens’ assets and leadership skills by empowering them to recognize their value and potential and encouraging them to give back to their community.
Statement does not promote dating. But when youth choose to date, we want them equipped with the education to recognize warning signs of abusive behavior as well as understand God’s positive plan for their life. Awareness, prevention, and leadership are key!
