Happy Girls Run 2017

The 2017 Happy Girls Run Spokane was a huge success on a sunny Saturday in September. Over one thousand women, and even a few men, took to the trials at Riverside State Park and enjoyed the beautiful sights and sounds of nature at its finest. Music, smiles, and laughter were heard throughout the morning into the early afternoon.

There is such a sense of unity among the participants and the Statement volunteers. Of course, for the run to be truly happy, snacks were provided along the way at water stations. Energized student volunteers from Horizon Middle School stood side by side cheering, holding motivational signs, and working the water stations along with our amazing lead volunteers, Rhonda O’Dowd, Laurel Warner (and her son Jack Warner) Maddy Cunningham, Sidney Lemer, Allie Carver, Sandy McDonnell, Tina Swanson, and Angela & Bryse Warner.

A big thank you goes out to Mr. Mike Smith from Horizon Middle School for coordinating 20 student volunteers. Statement is honored to be the charitable beneficiary of Happy Girl’s Spokane.

Final race day finishers: 1041 runners Happy Girls Run Spokane. Here are some photos from the day:
